SEMINARS & TEACHING

The Caring Congregation is offering churches, districts and conferences different options to receive the specialized training to take your care ministries to a new level.  We believe that care is the heart of the church and that Jesus has called us to do healing ministries. Our goal is to help you receive training for pastors and laity that will help you create an excellent care ministry in your church and community. To that end, we have developed three different options for training. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, TCC is expanding its reach to offer safe non-contact training on the care model to anyone able to access the internet.  We welcome you to email Karen Lampe or another team member to discuss any of these options.

OPTION 1:  SCHEDULED WEBINARS

  • National Congregational Care Ministry Training Webinar is offered semi-annually (spring & fall) for individuals to participate in a live streaming 2-day intensive Basic Congregational Care Ministry Training course. This online webinar offers detailed training designed for pastors and laity to learn the basics on how to organize, launch  and conduct an effective care ministry based on Rev. Karen Lampe's book, The Caring Congregation. Individual paid registration required.
  • Basic Congregational Care Ministry Training 2-Day Webinar for a church, conference or district on a date mutually agreed upon for training (typically a Fri/Sat). This intensive two day event is customizable to include representation by the host as a presenter. Individual registration required but is paid by the host church/district.

OPTION 2: ONLINE COURSES & COACHING VIA TEACHABLE.COM

  • Basic Congregational Care Ministry Online Training Course. Upon completion, individuals will receive a certificate of completion. This is a perfect way to train individual staff and laity when establishing your care ministry.  This course is self paced. Individual paid registration required.
  • Continuing Education Training Courses for individuals to further their expertise beyond the basic training course. Courses are available in a range of individual short videos, bundled by topic, and specialized by subject matter. These courses are self paced. Individual paid registration required.
  • Individual Zoom Coaching Sessions with one of our national leaders to assist in adapting The Caring Congregation model of care to meet specific situations. Sessions are available through our Teachable.com platform for a paid fee.

OPTION 3:  IN PERSON SEMINAR

This option involves a two-day seminar whereby a host church, district or conference invites one of our seminar leaders to provide an on site, in-person conference.  Most seminars are held on Friday and Saturday to allow for greatest participation. The host church also receives additional consultation for three months after the seminar. Contact us for availability and pricing. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this option is currently ON HOLD.
