We currently offer the following on-demand courses through The Caring Congregation Academy: Basic CCM Training Course, CLM Specialization in Congregational Care, and Caring for People in Crisis. Our courses are listed below or you may visit our Academy located at Teachable.com by clicking on the button below. We often bundle these courses in a cohort with additional coaching and group collaboration.
The Basic CCM Training course is essential to establish a care ministry and develop the practical methods of care within a care team. This introductory course covers chapters 1 - 11 in our training books. Upon completion, individual will receive a certificate of completion for 10 contact hours in congregational care.

This course is for Certified Lay Ministers seeking a specialization in congregational care. It includes the same content from our Basic CCM Training course plus a final project for submission to UMC Discipleship Ministries to qualify for an additional CLM Specialization in Congregational Care (includes certificate)

Four lectures related to how to care for people in these situations:
1. Crisis and Trauma
2. Mental Health (anxiety/depression)
3. Addiction/Recovery
4. Communal Disasters (tornado/flood/hurricane)
Self-paced online learning combined with six hours of live facilitator led small group discussion, coaching, and follow-up action planning. Classes limited to 8 participants.
