The Caring Congregation: Care Minister's Manual by Karen Lampe & Melissa Gepford. This companion book to the Implementation Guide is a personal training workbook and reference guide for Care Ministers.
NEW! The Concise Guide to Congregational Care: Words to Use in Every Setting. A pocket size book of prayers & scriptures for pastors & CCMs making visits to care facilities.
To maximize the effectiveness of our training, whether online or in-person, we recommend all webinar & seminar participants obtain copies of two books co-authored by Karen Lampe and Melissa Collier Gepford:
These books will provide access to all the details and forms needed to establish your care ministry.
We also recommend purchasing a printed set of Care Cards and Anointing Vials for use by your Congregational Care Ministers CCMS in caring out their ministry after training. Registrants will receive a digital version of the Care Cards with your handouts.
Below you will also find additional care ministry resources such as books, videos and documents (CCM Start Up Kit forms) that you may find helpful in your ongoing care ministry. We will mention many of these throughout the training.
NATIONAL WEBINAR REGISTRANTS will receive an email invitation to set up a "registrants only" account to gain access to "digital" training HANDOUTS, a schedule, and more. Once you set up your account, return here and click on the "For Registrants Only" button below, type in your email and password that you just created to view and download everything you will need to be prepared for your upcoming training.
NOTE: If you are attending a privately hosted webinar or watch party, the host may elect to distribute this information directly to attendees. Contact your host if you did not receive your training materials or reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
